    I'd like to see a website that uses either the Attitude Pro or Parallax Pro theme that has a blog on the front page. Does anyone know of one they can show me?

    The reason is that I am going to start a site that will begin with a blog on the front page, and then in the future after I add products and services sections to the site, I would change it to the normal static home page like the demos (and the showcase site for these themes) show, and put the blog under it's own link in the nav bar. Make sense?

    If no one know of a site set up like this on these themes, can I get any input on if I were to do this if it would cause any problems for me, and any tips on setting it up so the transition to the new home page later would be seamless?

    Hi slobizman. I can't think of any reason why the theme you use would cause any problems. I think starting off with a blog on a front page, and later switching to a static front page when you launch your products and services, is a great idea and would be very easy to implement without causing any problems for your site.

    To do it, you'd go into your WordPress admin area, Settings > Reading, and select your front page to display Your latest posts. Then when you want a static front page, select A static page, select the page you want to display on the front page, and make sure that you select for Posts page the page on which you want your blog to show. Then you just link to that 'posts page' in your menus.

    Thanks Carlo. So, when I switch formats, if I make the page let's say "blog" the Post Page in Settings > Reading, it won't change my permalinks to incorporate "/blog/" in them right? In other words, if my post is usually mysite.com/here-is-my-post, and I make my blog page mysite.com/blog, my post URL won't change to mysite.com/blog/here-is-my-post, right?
