    Hello,

I previously added the Soliloquey slider short code into a text widget of Front page 1 widget to try and give the main photo a slider effect with other photos.

It worked but did not quite fit property and was a bit clunky. When I removed the short code, that front page widget seemed to have problems and I couldn't get back to the original. I basically reloaded the theme and started from scratch again.

Is there a simple way to make the soliloquy slider fit and work smoothly on that first widget? I'm afraid of trying it again and having it not work and having to start over again 🙂

Thanks in advance for any input and help 🙂

You mean replace the front page 1 widget area background image with a slider to the widget content floats over the slider images?

Its not a simple modification. There's several tutorials which have already been written about this you can search for.

I just want to use the front page 1 widget as the main image area that uses a slider to show other images as well.

Ok I'll do a search for the tutorials. Thanks.

t-west, it appears that you got this to work. I also purchased Solioquy in order to have a full-width slider on Front Page 1 and instead it puts it into a box. Would you mind sharing the solution you found, either here or offline?
