Altitude Pro: Front Page missing

I cannot access my partially-completed Front Page anymore. Where did it go?
I was in either Customizer or Settings and clicked on "Front page displays: a static page" but did not know what page to select because I did not create a specific page for the Front Page.
Now the front page has defaulted to the blog archive and I cannot figure out how to get the original front page back. I read the Theme Set Up instructions but that assumes that the Front Page is in place. Mine has disappeared.
I assume it's an easy fix, but I am baffled.

Hi Lynda,

Just go back and change it back to "Your latest posts"

Then, if you actually want a static page, you should create one and then go back and change it again - this time selecting the newly created page.
