    Hi Folks,

    On my website, the front-page-1 section background image suddenly started showing "limited" height. After this issue, I had taken the same exact theme files and created another website (another domain) which does NOT have the same issue.

    I looked through all the .php and .css files and they seem to be exactly the same between the two sites. Also, when I remove the text widget from front-page-1 section, the whole background image *disappears* from the page. This tells me that the text widget is *helping* (which should not be the case) but don't know enough to figure out why is it so.

    Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!
    Anil

    Hi there Anil,

    Try adding the following:

    .front-page-1 {
    background-position: center;
    }

    That will center your background image.

    🙂

    Thanks, William!

    1. Does this code go inside of style.css file? If yes, which location? Beginning, end, or some specific location in that code file?

    2. Centering the background image is not really the issue unless the code you mentioned would actually resolve the issue which is "background image is not showing the full section height in the Desktop mode.

    NOTE: Sorry, I forgot to mention that the issue occurs only in Desktop full-width mode. At some smaller width of the browser, the *full* height of the section shows up as the page *responds* to the browser width.

    Thanks again,
    Anil
