I'm trying to edit the CSS for my site using Appearance > Editor on the Altitude Pro WP theme, but for some reason the changes are not taking effect on my live site. I have used Firebug as a CSS auditing tool and it has worked wonderfully for me. One of the things that is puzzling is that when I click on an element in Firebug, it is telling me in all cases that the CSS for that element is located on LINE 1. I do not have any CSS compressing plugins installed, but it seems as though the CSS is being minimized.

The URL for my site is here >> Northern Colorado SEO.

Any help you can give me on this would be most graciously appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

you are using WP Fastest Cache which is minifying the CSS and Cloudflare which is caching your website.

I'd recommend to disable both while you are making changes to your website.
(Even if you disabled WP Fastest Cache but did not clear or disable the Cloudflare cache, you'd see the old cached version)

A partner of mine JUST installed WP-Fastest Cache, so I know that has nothing to do with the problem. Plus, after he installed it I tried deactivating it and the problem still remained.

So you are saying that I need to clear the cache on Cloudflare after disabling WP Fastest Cache?

    So two steps:

    1) Disable WP Fastest Cache
    2) Clear Cloudflare cache
    3) Refresh page in Firefox

and I should have my CSS line number references back? Am I understanding you?

    Thank you so much!

I followed the steps above and it is still all showing "LINE 1" on firebug.

You are using Pagespeed, too, which rewrites files:
