MemberI am admittedly a WordPress/Genesis newbie, please help.
I am working with the Sample theme and want to alter the information that shows up on my custom category page. I am working on site for a client and have used the custom category to allow users to view all like items. I have placed a categories list in my primary widget area. This part works great.
However, instead of listing the results:
TITLE
IMAGE
INFOI want to list:
IMAGE
TITLE (and link to full page)I am sure I will need to add a new file to my Child Theme, but not sure where to start. Help, help.
THANKS.December 28, 2013 at 11:29 am #81602Brad Dalton

MemberBrad -
Ha, I had been looking at your site before sending out my plea for help. I am currently developing locally, but will put it on a live server so you can take a look.

MemberOkay Brad... as promised, here is the live link.
http://chickabiddy.printandpixelcreative.com/category/greek-2/
You will see the categories listed under "Flavors"
To recap, I am trying to rearrange how the pulled info is displayed to:
IMAGE
TITLE
no descriptionIf you can help or at least point me in the right tutorial direction I would appreciate it.
This will be the first time I go in and tweak the PHP, so the more basic the tutorial probably the better. Thanks

MemberBrad can I ask one more question? What do then numbers 8 and 1 stand for at the end of the lines?

MemberYou're right Brad. Worked like a charm! I don't understand how or why it worked, but it worked. I guess there is time to get to that part. Thanks again.
