Hello I'm trying to line up a simple image and text, on a even line in a widget. For some reason The text is always below the image and not side by side. Thanks for any help..>Rob

It sounds like you need to set the image left of the text. What I typically do is open post, insert the image and text, align the image to the left or right of the image, then in HTML - copy the code and paste into the text box.

You can also use the Image Widget Plugin which will do this for you without using the Posts.

Hello Anitac, Well the site is not live yet so I did not want to post the link yet but I'm using the Portfolio theme and I'm adding the content on the front page. I've try a number of things but it's not aligning side by side. And it's in a widget

    Thank you so much

Using the Image Widget is probably going to be best if you are using only and image and text.

Are you referring to a widget plug-in of some sort?

I installed the plug-in but there;s no way to alight both image and text side by side. Maybe I'm doing something incorrect but it's really straight forward and not really much to configure. Thanks so much
