    Hi All,

    Is anyone here have any idea how I can align the feature image inside my post: http://relationshipcoach.org/sailinghappilyeveraftertest/heres-a-sample-post-with-a-featured-image/ ? Any help would greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    David

    You could do this 2 ways.

    Either add the alignleft or alignright class to the PHP code in your child themes functions file which outputs the featured images within single posts

    Or add the float: left or float: right declaration to the image class generated by that code in your child themes style.css file which is .post-photo

    Hi @braddalton,

    I tried to set the post-photo to float:left; in either css and function.php but non works. Any idea what code works for my request?

    Thank you,
    David

    Would need to see the code which you used to add the image first.

    Hi @braddalton,

    Here's my code:

    .post-photo {
    float:left;
    }

    But it didn't move along the content: http://relationshipcoach.org/sailinghappilyeveraftertest/heres-a-sample-post-with-a-featured-image/

    Thanks,
    David

    I would need to see the PHP code you used to add the image.

    The CSS code doesn't add the image.

    Also, what other classes did you try?

    Also I tried to set alignleft in the class under function.php:

    printf( '%s', get_permalink(), $image, the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) );

    but non works.

    Thanks,
    David

    Please paste your code in a Github Gist and embed it or link to it from here.

    The code you pasted is incomplete.

    Hi @braddalton,

    Here's the embedded code from Gist:

    <script src="https://gist.github.com/anonymous/10522393.js"></script>

    or the link:

    Hope to hear from you soon.

    Thanks,

    Please remove both code snippets for adding the image from your functions file and replace with this

    Left Aligned Featured Image On Single Posts
