Align a button to the top in AgentPress Pro

Hoping someone can help me. On the website http://7mileislanddoug.com/ there is a blue section that says Want to Stay in the Loop with a button to the right. I am having some issue trying to push that button up more so that is more vertically centered. I tried a bunch of different things but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas for me?

Where exactly would you prefer for that button to be?

Right now, you have it inside your h1 tag for Read this week's issue of Doug's Seven Mile Island News! so where you can position it is kind of limited (it will depend on the positioning of that h1 tag).

So first I would take it out of the h1 tag.

If you want the text to the left and the button to the right, aligned in the vertical middle, I would take the button out of the the text widget div and I would put in another div by itself, float right and figure out a way to have it vertically aligned in the middle (I need to have more coffee before I can remember how to do that).

But personally, I would have the text full width in the div and have the CTA button BELOW the text Read this week's issue of Doug's Seven Mile Island News!.

Actually, in reality, if it were me, a CTA is far to important to "waste" on having them read something... I would ask the visitor to DO something instead, like sign up for the newsletter, or to contact the site owner right now.

I think you are right! Align everything in the center is the path of least resistance. I liked the aesthetic of the left and right side alignment (text to the left and button to the right) better though. Thank you for your input and feedback 🙂

You can still do them left and right if you want to.

Put the text in one div, and then the button in another.

Then float the text div left, and the button div float: right.

But it's up to you.
