    I tried to change the name of one of my taxonomy choices from "Property Types" to "Property Choices". Instead of making the change, it left the singular and plural names unchanged but added an entry at the bottom with no ID but the singular and plural names. How do I simply change the taxonomy names and get rid of those two odd entries at the bottom? Thanks.

    Hi Bill,

    Where are you making the change? Can you post the code or a screenshot of what you have?

    Cheers,
    Tom

    It's a P.I.A. but you can "repair" the missing ID's by editing a MySQL dump of the database. Find the "agentpress_taxonomies" section, and inside that look for your odd entries. They will almost certainly start something like:
    s:0:\"\";

    The s: is the serialised length of the ID, and the bit that *should* be inside the \"\" is the ID. Change that to something useful eg:
    s:5:\"name1\";

    Re-import the dump and your odd entries should have an ID so now you can delete them.

    With the other problem - changing taxonomy names - you may be better off deleting the old ones and creating new ones.

    Cheers,
    KathyW.
