MemberI have removed the splash page now so you can see the site. The embed code is placed in the listing where it says to insert the embed code but it doesn't show up... http://menapiaproperties.ie/?listing=ballygerry-rosslare-harbour-co-wexford
Any ideas?

MemberCouple-a-thingies.
What instructions are you following to embed the Google Maps code?
Any chance you could paste your code here so we can see what's going on?

MemberThanks for the quick reply Erik!
Here is my code. I took it from google maps where it says share or embed map and then I copied the embed code and pasted it into the listing
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d9770.73543447268!2d-6.353743999999999!3d52.2491257!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x486819df36c61cdf%3A0x2600c7a819c77f92!2sBallygerry%2C+Co.+Wexford!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sie!4v1433851443087" width="600" height="450" frameborder="0" style="border:0"></iframe>

MemberIt has a button which says ' send to text editor' but when I click it, it doesn't seem to do anything. I think this is where the problem is!

MemberMy bad. What I should have asked was ... where - in WordPress itself - did you paste that code? 🙂

MemberJust saw your last reply there. If you go to the place - in your admin dashboard - where you create the listing itself, do you see that code? Because if you don't, that would likely be the problem 🙂

MemberThanks Erik,
Will give that a try, the plugin looks really handy. Pity the function on the theme isn't working though! Is it just my theme or a general bug I wonder!

MemberUnfortunately the Mappress pro only adds the option to insert maps on posts but not on property 'listings' so this isn't an option for me now.
I have been trying to add the embed code in the embed maps box but it isn't working either.
anyone else having problems with this? I also imported the demo content to see if that would help but none of the images or maps were imported with it.
Any ideas are much appreciated. http://www.menapiaproperties.ie

MemberYou shouldn't need the plugin mentioned in the video. You should only need the embed code from the 1min 07secs mark ... when she says "now I need to grab the code". There should be no need to go beyond the 1 min 35 secs mark of the video.
Can you provide screenshots of each area of your admin dashboard where you are adding a property listing?

ParticipantI think I have the same problem.
M
ine is showing - kind of - in the footer.
As far as I can tell, this is a Google Maps problem. The iframe code is a whole lot longer than it used to be, and the readable code it spits out is a lot longer, too.
Here's the iframe:
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d1563.6118527690373!2d-90.30544505256425!3d38.468248461054635!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x87d8c7f15ef5cdeb%3A0x1e1b3ba35d46aa4!2s5647+MO-231%2C+St+Louis%2C+MO+63129!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1438983853999" width="300" height="600" frameborder="0" style="border:0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
And you should see the mess it makes.
It basically barfs an entire html document - including a doctype, a head with STYLE SHEETS for flowers' sake, SCRIPTS (Why do I need scripts in the middle of my post, I mean listing?) a lot of absolutely-positioned divs and cat knows what else - into a space that I specified on the Google Maps site is 300 x 600.
I am annoyed to say the least.
I think for the moment I'm done embedding map code, unless that plugin will strip this ish out. It's insane. Screen grabs may have to do.
If my screen grab doesn't show, btw, it's a whole window of my 27" display, with dev tools open. The iframe code in the DOM tree goes the height of my screen.
smdh ...
Well, tennis was good this morning.

ParticipantActually, I think the iframe is fine. I suspect the map wants wider dimensions.
Sorry for the outburst.

MemberHi @marybaum,
You can go for other option rather than calling an iframe to show Map.To avoid such type of error. I mostly use in my project.
Plus point using other way , I've a control to stylize the Map as well.Regards,
