In Agent Focused Pro theme the column layouts resize from the original (4 or 6 columns) directly to 1 column with no increments in between. I would expect a 6 column layout, for example, to resize to 3 columns first and then to 2 and finally one column as the window width is reduced. The theme demo site is responding this way too. What changes can I make to change the responsive behavior to accomplish this?

Agent Focused Pro is a third party theme. You would probably get a better solution by contacting them directly, especially if you see the same behavior on the demo - https://www.winningagent.com/support/ or check out their community forum here - https://www.winningagent.com/forums/.

You can use CSS Grid wrapped in a media query https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_grid_item.asp
