Hi, I'm using Outreach Pro and would like the After Entry Widget Area to display on pages. I've seen a few old tutorials out there, but nothing works. Anyone doing this on Outreach Pro (or any child theme) with any success?
Yes, I googled this extensively before posting here. I'm hoping someone else has gotten this to work and can share their knowledge.
Thanks, Brad. I tried that as well with no luck. Not sure if it matters, but Outreach Pro has the after entry widget area enabled by default for single posts:
What happens if you remove the default code and add this line https://wpsites.net/web-design/add-genesis-after-entry-widget-area-to-single-pages/#code-after-entry-widget-single-pages
It does work, i just tested it using your theme.
//* Add support for after entry widget add_theme_support( 'genesis-after-entry-widget-area' ); add_post_type_support( 'page', 'genesis-after-entry-widget-area' );
I assume you're referring to single pages? Otherwise you'll need another solution.
Brad, my apologies. I was away on travel and could not get back to this project until now. Your suggestion did work. There was a mix-up on my end with a test theme I had created. This single line was all that was needed:
add_post_type_support( 'page', 'genesis-after-entry-widget-area' );
I really appreciate all of your help.
