    Can someone please give me step by step instructions (all the links in previous posts just point to the short code, no directions) for adding the date i.e. November 14, 2014 to my nav bar as depicted in the News Pro demo.

    Please, I need directions. I have found the code snippets but I am a rookie and need a little more clarity as to where exactly the code snippet goes and how to place it there. i Have crashed my site twice trying to get it to work. Fortunately I back up my functions.php before each attempt.
