Hi all, I'm looking for an easy way to add a header image to a landing page i created using the default landing page in my eleven40 pro theme.

I'm quite happy with everything else i need to do to the page i'd just like to add an image to fill the full width of the header which is 800px wide.

I would have just added the image to the page however it adds padding to it. The header i will use will be all blue so i don't want padding or a border around it, I just want it to fill the full width of the page. If I remove the padding it removes it form the rest of the page which i don't want.

Any ideas anyone? without going into too much coding if possible.

BTW this will be a one off i don;t want to use this header on additional landing pages.

Thanks Brad but I tried this tutorial from your blog earlier and couldn't get it to work.

Admittedly I didn't change any of the code because i didn't know what to change I don't know code!

You don't need to modify any code. Simply follow the Code installation instructions and add your image to your child themes images folder.

Otherwise you will need to add the 2nd snippet to your existing page_landing template.

but won't this mean all my landing pages will have the same header? which i don't want

I tried the second and third bit of code in black boxes in your tutorial. Was i meant to do more than that?

Anything is possible. You can add the page i.d to the conditional tag and hook it in from your functions file so it only effects one landing page.
