I am getting frustrated trying to add the Genesis Responsive Slider to a site i just started on using Genesis 1.9.1 and the sample child theme as a base. I want it on the home page which is a static page.

Is there a good tutorial for doing this that anyone is aware of or some brief steps that need to be completed? I've read a lot of tutorials, all adding it to Genesis themes but not the framework.

Seems like this should be simple but apparently I am making it difficult.

    Thank you,

    Landon

Well, further but still no dice. You can see the area where it should be here.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Landon,

I've got it to work by following this tutorial:

    http://www.carriedils.com/add-slider-minimum-theme/2293

although it's for the minimum theme it worked for me using the sample theme.
