    How can I add additional columns to the main page of the Executive Pro theme?

    At the moment it's done by widgets but the site is limited by the amount of content you can add to it. I would like to add 50/50 columns below the existing widgets and add some text and images.

    Anybody done this successfully?

    Use content column classes or split widgets.

    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this doesn't work for the front page. Only internal posts and pages.

    Split widgets can be added anywhere including the front page.

    Or you can duplicate the existing front page template code for widgets, change the function name and widget i.d.

    Some custom coding is required as each theme is different.
