    Have been doing microdata optimization and realized that the featured post widget does not contain any microdata for the heading, content, images etc. But the problem lies in that the loop and <article> does contain the designation for http://schema.org/BlogPosting so these need to be their or it fails validation.

    Is there a git for contributing these changes? Glad to add them myself, in the mean time I have simply added them to my genesis core code which will sadly be lost on update.
