    I am using Genesis with the Magazine child theme.  I want to have the current date always displayed directly under the title, but before my secondary navigation bar.  My site is http://www.bgemagazine.com.  I want it centered just like the title, but in a smaller font.  I did not use the tagline so there's plenty of room.

    Thank you in advance for helping a novice.

    Hi,

    You can add this to your child-theme functions.php:

    [ Sorry, keeps stripping out part of my code.

    Here's a pastebin link

    ]

    Then in your child-theme style.css, you can add:

    #header .my-date-class {
    text-align: center;
    }

    Here you can also style your color, margins, etc.

    The time format is controlled in your admin panel under settings.

    Have a good night!

    Tony,

    Thank you very much.  This is great.  I made the change in about a minute.

    Can't thank you enough.
