Is there any way I can add a "Read More" or add a content limit to main body text on a page that is not my blog page and therefore not a post?

Maybe limit text within a div class???

Can't find anything relevant to my query.
    TIA

Are you basically wanting to split up long page content into smaller chunks? WordPress by default doesn't support pagination of single post/page content.

What initially comes to mind, is to split your content areas into div containers and use the jquery .toggle() function.

Ok thank you I thought that might be the case.

    Thanks for your advice.
