    I need an extra widget -- really just a line of text - to go above three footer widgets.  I tried using the hooks, but cannot seem to get it in the write place.

    Any suggestions?

    Pretty much all of them.

    For whatever reason, I guess associate doesn't actually put the footer widgets in the footer, so when I use the footer hooks it is in the wrong place.

    I've been looking for footer widget hooks to selectively disable them for specific page templates but haven't found them yet. Where does one find the hooks for the footer widgets?
