    Hi!

I'm doing a new page with Metro Child Theme. http://www.fundipau.org/fundipau

I want, by default, in all new posts and pages the comments will be hide. And enable comment when I want for only some posts, or some categorys. Is that possible?

    Thanks!

    Hi Brad, and thanks,

I know that, but when I have enabled the comments in Theme Settings in Genesis, I have to disable comments in every new post I have.

And when I put disable in Theme Settings, then the comments in post doesn't works. I active it manually, but not works.

It is very important for me that the comments are by default disabled, because the 95% of the new post will be without comments.

Please copy this code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++.

Replace the cat i.d with the i.d for the category you want to allow comments on.

Code not displaying? Grab it on Github.
