    In Academy Pro the footer shows up beautifully at the bottom: https://www.screencast.com/t/2pH9VKDVVNf5

    In my case it shows up ugly too far up the page:

    Right now those two widgets are in footer CTA but that's obviously not the right place.

    How can I move those links down below the solid line?

    Add this to your stylesheet:

    .footer-cta a {
        text-decoration: none;
    }

    If you would like to update that without modifying the stylesheet, you can use Design Palette Pro. You can use it to modify other areas, colors, and fonts without touching the stylesheet. They are having a 30% off sale for Black Friday.

    Thank you Anita.

    That snipped of code removes the underlining and I have Design Palette Pro.
    But I'd like to completely move it down, below the solid line. Like they are in the Academy Pro demo.

    In Academy Pro the area you're looking for is a 'Menu Location' named > Footer Menu

    Described here - https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/academy-pro-theme/customize-your-theme-settings/menus/

    The social links they show in the demo are menu items.

    Create a new menu with your links - then select the footer menu as the location.

    However , looking at the content you've got , i don't think you'll want to do it this way, but that's how it's achieved in the demo.

    Oh it's a menu, now it all makes sense!

    So simple yet so genius, I would have never thought of it, thank you so much andytc!

    I asked an admin to reopen so I could post this for you. I wrote a tutorial on how to add the traditional footer widgets to Academy Pro if you decide you'd like to go that route. You can see the tutorial here.
