I can't hardly believe there's no full wide theme available for Genesis at Studiopress.
    With full wide I mean:
    • browser full wide
    • fixed content area

I tryed to find a (child) theme for Genesis where I could work with Visual Composer (VC) plugin.
One of VC features is to insert a browser wide row. Unfortunatly in Genesis themes this row is only displaying in the content area.

Now I'm forced to, let's say, Elegant Themes with their Divi theme with a page builder that fits my needs perfect.

Thanks for your respons Sridhar, I already saw that "trick".
Point is, one have to break in the code and as I experienced that can go wrong.
In my view there MUST be a theme with browser wide capacities.

It is fairly straight forward to have 100% full width sections in any Genesis child theme.

    See here for example.

If you can give the URL of your site where you are using a Genesis child theme and specify what section(s) you would like to make full width, I can further advise.

take a look at http://www.black9design.com. I built that with Genesis and the Dynamik Website Builder Child Theme. You should really check it out. Dynamik Website Builder You can do full width rows and a lot more with ease.

    Hi Black9,

Yes, I also found that theme. Pretty expensive ($89) and Dynamik licenses require renewal after one year...
But, it seems it does what I want!
