Is there any way to format (layout, columns) Shopp e-commerce pages from within a Genesis themed site? Rugs from Rags
I'm on a call with the Shopp people, and they want me to move to Builder and don't have anything to say about Genesis / StudioPress.
I've tried WooCommerce and MarketPress and didn't like way they worked; had paid for Shopp a while ago and wouldn't mind getting my money out of it. But my e-commerce pages are ugly and I can't figure out how to find those custom blog posts to modify.
thx
Ok so I just took out WP and started over. I was able to go all the way into installing Dynamik after Genesis and no problems. Then when I was to install Woo Commerce, it says you have to install the plug in Genesis Connect for Woo Commerce. So I do that, but I cant activate it because of this:
Sorry! In order to use the Genesis Connect for WooCommerce plugin you need to do the following:
Install and activate the WooCommerce plugin.
Add this code to your child theme's functions.php:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-connect-woocommerce' );
So I add that line to the file in the Dynamik folder, and i still states the same error and wont go away.
Was I supposed to install Woo Connect BEFORE installing Dynamik to Genesis, or am I doing something else wrong?

I am using the Genesis Connect plugin for woocommerce. I would like the main page of my shop to show the caegories (category thumbnails) only, and not the Product archives as well. How do I get rid of the product archives?

Connecting the dots for you.I am using the Genesis Connect Plugin for WooCommerce, together with the Genesis Title-Toggle button. I cannot hide the Woocommerce shop page title using genesis title-toggle.

Connecting the dots for you.Since the Genesis Framework is so fine tuned to work with Woo Commerce for shopping functionalities, it will be very useful that the Genesis Tabs plug-in to be integrated as well.
The main task is that in the category selector to pick between products categories.
For now the tab selector is limited to post_type=post . The key is to select from post_type=product too.I start to look around the functions but for now I'm stuck 🙂 regarding of my lack of genesis functions knowledges.
Any advice in this devel directions will be most valuable.That integration could be very useful for homepage design on e-commerce oriented sites.
Welcome!
