The hosting co.—Hostgator—did fix the problem. The database had been moved and changed for the new domain, so that wasn't the problem, but the tech couldn't tell me what the problem was except that the wordpress files were corrupted, and he replaced them all. I have seen this happen before, but don't know what the deal was then, either. I thought, at the time, that a security plugin was making the posts uneditable.
zmelMemberI am on chat with the hosting co. and they tell me the dbase was changed.
zmelMemberGood point. I changed it with the hosting co., this is a prelim site, no design, only one test post, I assumed they would change the dbase.
zmelMemberDo you think there is a similar code for removing footer from home page, but leaving on inside pages?
zmelMemberNICE. Thanks!!!

January 23, 2013 at 8:59 pm in reply to: Separate style sheet for executive theme inside pages? #14225zmelMemberThat DOES work. The next level would be for it to work for ALL posts without having to include it in every single post as a custom body class. Is that possible? Thank you so much for your help.

January 18, 2013 at 9:16 pm in reply to: Separate style sheet for executive theme inside pages? #13022zmelMemberThank you for the detailed instructions! I added this to my css:
.inside-bg body {
background: url(images/bg-inside1.jpg) no-repeat center center fixed;
-webkit-background-size: cover;
-moz-background-size: cover;
-o-background-size: cover;
background-size: cover;
}...uploaded css and image, and went into Edit/Page and added
.inside-bg
to the custom body class field.
And nothing happened :o(
Could it be because I have the home page bg image in the #wrap?
