    Susan - I just don't like saying negative things about anyone, or any product, that SP touts.  I've had a few folks from the Genesis/SP team offer solutions to this problem that also didn't work.  David is, in my humble opinion, the Go To person for resolving Genesis issues, and especially for this one.

    All -- Sorry for not getting back to this post after the problem was resolved.  I've been extremely busy and had no idea that this was still an issue for some people until I saw your posts in my email this morning.

    Susan - The reason I made my comment private is because of SP's association with Woo.  I didn't feel it would be appropriate to slam Woo in public, but obviously (since you took it upon yourself to remove my private comment) it's okay to do so.  With that said....

    Woo's instructions did NOT work, and at best, all I could get out of the Woo's non-support team was, "Read the instructions," or "We cannot help you beyond what is stated in our support policy."

    As for all of that add this to to PHP , or add this to wrapper, stuff was/is useless.

    The problem was resolved in CSS.   I hired David Chu, from this forum.  He is the only one who knew exactly what was causing the problem, and exactly how to fix it.  He's definitely worth hiring for this, and for ANYTHING having to do with Genesis!

    Hi Tony,

    As fate would have it, someone from this forum fix ALL of the Sensei pages (in record-breaking time and extremely reasonable rates). It didn't require any funky Woo Codes to be added to functions.php, or anywhere else.  Now the site looks AWESOME, with NO thanks to those so-called "Woo Ninjas."

    Chris... I'm having the same problem with Sensei and the Executive theme; My sidebar on the lessons and courses pages are being pushed down below the content area.  I've received conflicting instructions from the Sensei crew, which also conflicts with what's in their written document.  As Tony has no doubt noticed, the written instructions say to copy over (only) 2 files in the wrappers folder:  wrapper-start and wrapper-end.  However, in email, I was told to copy over ALL files and folders, and then edit the wrapper-start and end.  None of this is working, and I must resolve this issue by tomorrow, at the latest.

    Can you help fix this problem?  If payment is needed, just let me know how much.  There's not much room left in the budget, but I'm sure I can pay something for your time. 🙂

    Darn...wish I had known about these other options before I let WooCommerce suck the life out of me over the past few days!  I'm so far into this now, and this site MUST go live in this week, that I've reach the point of no return.  I SO HATE eCommerce sites.

    Thanks for your input, Brad....I'm still reading through the Sensei docs to find a solution.  Thus far, I think Sensei is not worth the price of admission.  What a frustrating experience.  Can't keep the login/logout links unless I use WooCommerce, and don't really want to use WooCommerce.  But apparently, I'll have to.

    Hi Anita,

    Thank you for your input.

    I was just looking at some BuddyPress plugins over on the wpmudev site.  I've not used BuddyPress before, but just looking at the plugins (and based on what you just said regarding the order of installation) made me realize that I'm going to need help with this project; from someone well-versed in BuddyPress.  If you're able, and willing, to take on a new project, please feel free to email, or private reply, me.  I think we've chatted via email in the past.

    Tried that...didn't work.  This is what I have in Wrap right now

    -moz-box-shadow: 0 30px 2px #5a5a5a; -webkit-box-shadow: 0 30px 2px #5a5a5a; box-shadow: 0 1px 30px #5a5a5a;

    Unfortunately, I can't provide the link, but I did send you a screen shot of what I can show without breaking confidentiality.

    Thank you, Anita!  I'm SO close to getting it where it needs to be...got the bottom part of the page solved.  Now just need to deal with the Welcome section being separate from Featured pages below that, and of course there's the ugly drop shadow issue.

    It's a LOT of work, and they're on their 3rd (and final) revision.  I've had to create 4 websites this week.  Just launched one and the other 3 are the problem child.  The main problem is working with a Board of Directors and everyone has their own idea of what the site should look like.  Colors schemes have ranged from "New England tanish/green/gold" to "Silver/pewter with a darkish burgundy, but not deep red."

    I would copy their css file, however, it appears to be a custom made theme as it cannot be found anywhere.  I doubt anyone would want to buy that theme even if it was available.

    I've been looking over the CSS but not seeing the problem.  Am I looking in the wrong place?

    /* Featured Page / Post
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */

    .featuredpage,
    .featuredpost {
    clear: both;
    margin: 0;
    overflow: hidden;
    }

    .featuredpage .page,
    .featuredpost .post {
    float: left;
    margin: 0;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0 0 5px;
    }

    .sidebar .featuredpage .page,
    .sidebar .featuredpost .post {
    margin: 0 0 20px;
    padding: 0;
    width: auto;
    }

    #footer-widgets .featuredpage .page,
    #footer-widgets .featuredpost .post {
    margin: 0 0 10px;
    padding: 0;
    }

    .more-from-category {
    padding: 5px 15px 0;
    }

    NOTE:  When I hit the Submit button in order to reply to you, I got a blank page with something about my not having sufficient information in order to access this page.  I then used my back button and saw my reply had been posted. ???

    The one that's not working properly is in the primary sidebar area.
