I have changed the 200px to 20px, just to see the affect and it has moved the text to the right on the page, can you suggest anything to bring it back more centralised.

Is there anyway to add a media query that will make the text full width on a mobile and "hide" the negative image.

Yes that is exactly what I am trying to do, if necessary we are happy to loose the negative image on mobiles and have full width text below the header image.

Hi Tribalcafe,

My problem was due to an unrelated error on my page. It turned out that on some text I had "&amp" instead of "&" and I had left a "/a>"  when a link had been removed.

As soon as I amended these 2 errors it worked fine, that will teach me to be more diligent!

Put your url in here http://validator.w3.org/, it should help you find any errors on your page.

Thanks for your replies. I downloaded Royal Slider (for aus' $20 = £13 uk) I figured it was worth a play and on my local and test sites it seems fine. So thanks.

electricbrick - Yes, I am aware of Genesis responsive slider and am using it on another project, although, as far as I am aware I can only use it with "featured images" from posts, whereas with Royal Slider I can just upload images and include in slider, which if I have a gallery of images from a band for example is quite handy.

I quite like wp-cycle used on other Studiopress themes but could not see anywhere an option for thumbnails, which for a music based site I feel is important. I also need a solution that includes video capability for this project.

Any help or advice is appreciated.
