Ditto
RoxGMemberI'd also like to know how to do pages instead of posts below the welcome section
RoxGMemberUPDATE: there was a problem with my site - no idea what. I uninstalled WordPress, re-installed and followed your steps above - worked! Thanks so much for your help!
RoxGMemberThanks for your help. I followed your steps exactly and still having issues. If you look at my page the slider is very tiny (I have it set to 1200 x 400 in settings) and its not displaying my posts properly. If I switch it to pages the slider seems to hide behind the post boxes and I can see just the top half sliding.
Also, while set on Posts, if I select a specific category to show up, nothing appears. I have to select all categories to have anything appear but like i said it's tiny and not showing everything.
RoxGMemberI downloaded Widgets on Pages and put the slider widget in that new section. I placed a text widget in the Welcome section and added the widget code. No luck.
I tried the same with the Newspro theme (placed the code in Home Top section) and no luck. I must being doing something wrong but I can't figure out what.
RoxGMemberI'll give the custom content shortcode a try!
RoxGMemberThank you 🙂
The only place I want the title removed is on Pages. Like my about page, services etc. I do want titles to appear on posts but if you see on my site, on the blog page there is no titles on the abbreviated posts. If I turn the toggle off, the title appears. I guessing its reading them as page titles because its on the blog "page"?
The plugin does include a meta box on the Theme settings page but the only option it give is " By default, remove titles in the page post type." and I can select or deselect
RoxGMemberJust to clarify, when I turn it on, it is removing the title on both my pages and the posts on the blog page (the list of posts on the page). http://www.roxineolivia.com/success-blog
What I want is the title removed from the pages, but on the posts listed on the blog page, I want the titles to show.
Roxine
RoxGMemberSo for the first one I'd have the below?
function setting_defaults( $defaults ) {
$post_types = apply_filters( 'be_title_toggle_post_types', array( 'page' , 'post') );
foreach ( $post_types as $post_type )
$defaults[] = array( 'be_title_toggle_' . $post_type => '' );
return $defaults;
}RoxGMemberOk. Admittedly no the sharpest pencil in the bunch, lol. It's there! I just didn't realize I had to go over to the widgets section to add the content. Thanks so much for your help 🙂
RoxGMemberI also tried instructions here and got nothing

RoxGMemberHi Dev,
I tried this and nothing happened. Is there a specific spot I have to add it in?
RoxGMemberThat's perfect! thank you
RoxGMemberYes I'm in theme settings. What I realize is I have to click below and not on the image. I don't know if this is something new with WordPress. I remember in the past clicking ON the thumbnail
RoxGMemberI just set installed WordPress so I haven't added any themes except the one mentioned above.
When I click it just stays on the default. Like it's not clickable.
RoxGMemberGot It! Thank for your help
RoxGMemberI've done step one and two but the 3rd one I'm having trouble with. How do I find the line numbers when using te editor in WP?
RoxGMemberThanks David, I'll have a look! What are some of the search terms you used for the forum? I find most of what I''ve come across have been specific to someone situation/job.
RoxGMemberfixed! Thank you
RoxGMemberTHanks anitac, I'll do that
