Oh great - there seems to be a big caching delay on my provider when making changes to style.css

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FuturerogerpParticipantThanks Victor,
I had disabled the related posts plugin and no success
I then disabled them all and enabled one by one and the problem one seems to be the Social Icons font https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/
So I have left it off
Thanks for your help - I should have thought about disabling plugins.
Regards,
Roger

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FuturerogerpParticipantHi Victor,
I am not using anything else for comments, just the theme?
I installed LMS Lifter - a learning platform plugin and it skewed the sidebar and now I have removed the plugin the sidebar remains at the bottom.
I just to need to work out how aggressivley I fix this.
i.e - restore original functions.php
restore original style.cssre-install the theme?
re-install Genesis
re-install wordpressAnnoyingly I have setup a sub-domain with the LMS plugin and all sidebars work perfectly
So unless you have any ideas I will systematically start reverting things to default and see what fixes it.

It looks like the cure to my problem but I need to find my sidebar ID
I believe it is sidebars-column-1

//* Remove the author box on single posts HTML5 Themes
remove_action( 'genesis_after_entry', 'genesis_do_author_box_single', 8 );However now I am getting comments appearing in the sidebar?

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FuturerogerpParticipantNo, this seems to have removed the archive title i.e BLOG, but also removed every title of each blog post?
Roger
https://www.rogerperkin.co.uk/
Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FuturerogerpParticipantThanks for that - that's done the trick but there is still a lot of white space there?
I now have this
.entry-title {
display: none;
font-size: 35px;
font-size: 3.5rem;
margin: 0 0 30px;
However the white space seems be being generated by .archive-description?

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FutureSeptember 28, 2016 at 9:47 am in reply to: Sticky Sidebar Widget – Smart Passive Income Theme #193824rogerpParticipantThanks for all your support Brad, will work that one out later.
One other question - this is now sticking the last widget. which is great as I have it for my email sign up.
But if I wanted to include 3 separate elements
i.e within the last widget - 2 separate images and also the enews extended
It seems it has to be the enews widget or a few images within a widget but no way of doing both?

Change of tact now - I have found this code https://gist.github.com/srikat/8783212 which is doing it slightly differently
The Sidebar is now fading in on my site but just not sticking

How can I compare against yours?
Can I just pay you to fix this for me?
Thanks

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FutureSeptember 28, 2016 at 6:40 am in reply to: Sticky Sidebar Widget – Smart Passive Income Theme #193805rogerpParticipantThanks Brad, I misunderstood when you said it was working for you - but not on my site (on yours?)
I have tried
var sidebarElement = $('#sidebar-primary');
var sidebarElement = $('#.sidebar-primary');
But the sidebar will just not stick.
What theme are you trying it on?

Will work on that, one question.
You say it is working for you?
When I view it the sidebar doesn't stick for me? - I am using Chrome and IE

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FutureSeptember 27, 2016 at 10:14 am in reply to: Sticky Sidebar Widget – Smart Passive Income Theme #193766rogerpParticipantSo what is the correct path, as this really breaks it
wp_enqueue_script( 'stickywidget', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '//rogerperkin.co.uk/wp-content/themes/smart-passive-income-pro/js/wpb-fadein-widget.js', array('jquery'), '1.0.0', true );
the child theme is in the same directory as genesis?

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FutureSeptember 27, 2016 at 6:36 am in reply to: Sticky Sidebar Widget – Smart Passive Income Theme #193757rogerpParticipantWhen I debug the page it fails to load this
http://www.rogerperkin.co.uk/wp-content/themes/genesis/js/wpb-fadein-widget.js?ver=1.0.0
But the functions.php has this on the enqueue - so is it defaulting to the parent theme?
wp_enqueue_script( 'stickywidget', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/js/wpb-fadein-widget.js', array('jquery'), '1.0.0', true );

Check out my Network Automation Training – Training the Network Engineers of the FutureSeptember 27, 2016 at 6:24 am in reply to: Sticky Sidebar Widget – Smart Passive Income Theme #193756rogerpParticipantAhhh! That could be the problem
filename is wpb_fadein_widget.js and the enqueue script is wanting wpb-fadein-widget.js
Renamed js file and now it is accessible
Still not working though,
But one step forward..
