    I figured out how to fix this. It's really odd, but it did't work within functions.php or page.php, I needed to use the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin in order to get it achieved.

    Any Idea why this happened?

    On line 1010 of style.css

    add this line at the end of the other styles:
    background: #fff;

    That should fix your problem 🙂

    There are several ways in which this could be done. I would encourage you to use firebug or Chrome Developer Tools to see exactly what CharityWater is doing, then you'll be able to replicate it exactly 🙂

    Hello Sutara,

    Could you send us a link to your website so we can give you more specific code?

    Thanks!
    Zach

    It's pretty easy:

    .home-top img {
       opacity: 0.5;
    }

    .home-top img:hover {
       opacity: 1;
    }

    Please note i'm not including alpha opacity (it's for IE I believe).

    For future reference, you should look at firebug or Chrome Developer tools to test these kinds of things out.

    Hope this helped 🙂
