Thanks for the quick repsonse. I just want to clarify - To comment out I add the /* at the beginning as shown above. Is that the only change or should i insert */ somewhere?

Your instructions below show both but I only see /* in the code above.
(You need to uncomment-out ( /*…*/ )

I found a workaround - not ideal but works. I changed the background colour to black which filled in the gap on the right.

Just wondering if there is something else I need to do to get the header to go all the way accross the website. I tried the previous steps but it didn't work - or perhaps i did something in correctly.

I'm at a loss. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately this is not working. I've uploaded the header image through media manager and changed the URL in editor. Nothing shows up but the light pink background. If I choose restore header image I get the original black that with the space to the right.

Note: It shows up perfectly on my Iphone and Ipad. The issue is just when viewing on laptop.

Anything else I can try?

Found it! It's in home.php.

Found a section in the functions.php file and tried changing the name there but it didn't work.

Found the problem - images must be aligned (right, left or center). If no alignment selected the space appears

Thanks Debra! I made the adjustment and it works great.

I do have another image issue. When I add and image in the footer there is a very large blank space beneath the image. I've tried to locate the code relating to this but can't find it. Any ideas?
