FYI, issue resolved. Just used a text widget in the home-top sidebar.

When I search Google for Genesis after entry widget I find articles on how to code it in but I never did anything called for in any of the articles and it just showed up. I want to use it on another Agency Pro installation and not have to code it if possible. Hence the nature of my question.

I used margin-top:5px; and that seemed to get the icon centered nicely.
But now would like the text to be centered as well.

Perfect Andrea. The entire icon is now in view.
I tried to add the padding property to get the icon to locate mid point so that it's lined up with the text but everything I've tried doesn't seem to get the job done. Can you provide any guidance or assistance?

Actually, now that you mention it I hadn't thought of looking for it. So we're saying that the scripts box can take this same code when I create a new page? This is obviously the best but hadn't even noticed it. I will test it.
