Try this out by placing in the heading field on your Genesis Theme Settings admin page:
<meta content="http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/fb-logo.jpg" /> <link href="http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/fb-logo.jpg" rel="img_src" />
electricbrickParticipant@David Any idea on how one can control the output of a Genesis author archive using Co-Authors Plus and Genesis Co-Authors Plus?
electricbrickParticipantOP would've had to have upgraded from Genesis Core 1.8 to 1.92, since AgentPress is actually at v2.02, however it is unclear what OP did with the child theme.
@danapointhomes Can you clarify? If you overwrote any custom AgentPress child theme styles in this process, I'm afraid you've lost them. You would have had to manually uploaded any new child theme code to your site, as child themes don't automatically update (unless something has changed that I'm not aware of).I've updated Genesis Core dozens of times without any issues across dozens of sites.
electricbrickParticipantWhile not Genesis-specific solutions, I've made some progress in this area, so for anyone asking the same question in the future:
I've located this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multiple-featured-images/
And this tutorial: http://lifeonlars.com/wordpress/how-to-add-multiple-featured-images-in-wordpress/
electricbrickParticipantI've made the Genesis Mobile Menu I've developed a widget that you can drop into a /lib/ directory within your child theme.
Let me know what you think:
electricbrickParticipantThanks, Andrea.
electricbrickParticipantI had this issue a long time ago, and came up with an awesome solution based on a freebie that I found on another dev's site.
It's a bit hacked together, but if you guys are interested, I'll try to get it onto Github soon and I'll repost here.
In the meantime, just to make sure I'm understanding you, go to http://www.aqua103.net on your phone and let me know if that's more or less the kind of nav you're looking for.

I am quite nonplussed at this point. I rely on Genesis and its officially produced child themes for both their extensibility and reliability. I can typically update either WordPress or Genesis without a ton of issues causing me mental anguish and lost time.
With AgentPress (and AgentPress Listings) there are some woefully underdeveloped features that were either a result of ignorance or careful concealment.
Listing archives (generated from taxonomy.php) only sort one way as far as I can see, and that's by most recent. In the widget, listing terms are sorted by most popular (the more listings filed under a given taxonomy and term, the higher the term in the list). WHAT??? I had to hack the plugin files to make it behave sensibly, and use a 3rd party plugin to be able to sort my taxonomy terms in the dashboard sidebar.
Back to the listing archives. Only 10 listings can be shown under each term in a given taxonomy. 10 properties? Come on, already. This has been mentioned in several places over the course of the past few months and has gone unanswered. Totally unexcusable.
Additionally with AgentPress & AGL, you create the entire custom post hierarchy by establishing taxonomies, and you must also create your own terms under each taxonomy. It's a bit of a stretch for the uninitiated to be able to do this themselves, but what the heck, let's make the assumption that this plugin/theme combo is for intermediate-to-advanced users? Then why the heck is Copyblogger hawking this and the Hyperlocal theme to real estate agents? Notice they only demo IDX integration, offered by Diverse Solutions. And if you want to manually manage listings with either Hyperlocal or AgentPress? Are you S.O.L.? Modern businesses, and particularly realtors, don't have time for smoke and mirrors.
This smacks of abandonware at a minimum, and really is a slap in the face to anyone who bought AgentPress to represent a legitimate business. I'm pretty pissed -- because I'm not playing at web design, I'm actually making sites for clients who want to use them themselves. I'm just not a developer, and that's why I rely on StudioPress. Maybe it's just my fault for not knowing PHP and WordPress well enough, though...
The reason I'm mad is because I put so much stock in StudioPress and the wodnerful team of paid and unpaid devs that surround them. Now I'm having to reasses that... Kinda stings.

I've been wrestling with it for my entire work day for an entirely different reason, and I can't figure out how to safely modify the custom loop.
electricbrickParticipantIf there are web fonts being called and you're using any kind of domain masking, Firefox will not render the web fonts. FYI.
electricbrickParticipantI'm not sure what's happening with the forum but it is being spammed heavily with no moderation. This worries me quite a bit.
This may help with your issue, though I'm not entirely sure what you're asking.
electricbrickParticipantThat should all be controlled by your child theme styles.css -- don't roll back Genesis Core simply for fonts.
electricbrickParticipantI tried looking at your site but all i see is default Genesis. Probably want to take down the post about your site being hacked, though. That's not reassuring to visitors that don't know if it will compromise their security.
Also, while you're fixing this, maybe use the Ultimate Coming Soon Page plugin?

@braddalton's PTO plugin suggestion is fine if you have a dozen listings. However, this plugin + theme combo fails when it comes to displaying more than 10 listings at a time, sorting them in any way other than as descending recent posts, as well as paginating listings. In light of this, I would deem AgentPress (theme + plugin) an absolute failure in terms of offering a system that realtors and people in similar industries can actually leverage professionally.electricbrickParticipant@jodzee With AgentPress, you have to use the Featured Image to choose the thumbnail for all the listings. On the single-listing pages, you'll need to use the "Insert Media" button above your editor to embed any images you want to appear on a given listing.
March 13, 2013 at 2:56 pm in reply to: Displaying AgentPress Listings property details (custom fields) in template #25993electricbrickParticipant@cushtina You can look into Custom Meta Boxes if you want something a little more automated.
You may be able to modify the core AgentPress files using CMB as a guide (which isn't recommended by the devs, btw) as I've been doing.
electricbrickParticipant@jehensley You'll want to replace your query args in class-featured-listings-widget.php at line 35 with the code immediately below.
$query_args = array(
'post_type' => 'listing',
'posts_per_page' => $instance['posts_per_page'],
'orderby' => 'rand',
'paged' => get_query_var('paged') ? get_query_var('paged') : 1
);
I was able to get the Featured Listing widget to filter a specific "Featured Homepage" taxonomy category by changing the query_args portion of class-featured-listings-widget.php:
$query_args = array(
'post_type' => 'listing',
'taxonomy' => 'featured-property',
'field' => 'slug',
'term' => 'homepage',
'posts_per_page' => $instance['posts_per_page'],
'paged' => get_query_var('paged') ? get_query_var('paged') : 1
);
EDIT: Sorry, that was a bit cofunsing. Rewrote so I answered the thread and then my own (hijack) question.
electricbrickParticipantThen the license for Royal Slider that you just purchased is exactly the right way to go! It will require you or your client to fill in the image or video content and accompanying captions with each slide, and I don't know if you can mix-and-match image slide content with video slide content or not. There are SO many options with the update to Royal that I haven't had much opportunity to test them all out.
electricbrickParticipantI'm actually looking to be able to filter mine by property type, which is part of the taxonomy structure I set up. Either way, how can we make these results better filterable than just having what amounts to "recent posts"?
