Hi,
No, its not resolved. The menu does not change as it should on mobile devices. It does on the Centric Pro demo, although on that the primary nav is in the header right.
I would expect the menu to behave the same as the demo regardless of what position it is in. Wouldn't you?
clownfishParticipantFurther to previous comments, I've compared the original Centric stylesheet with my own using DiffChecker - removed anything which might have had any kind of bearing on the responsive menu issue, and the problem remains.
The only styles now existing in the stylesheet are very basic color changes and a few padding changes.
The functions.php is identical to the original, as is the front-page.php. I have changed nothing else except the style.css.
I've disabled all the plugins and re-enabled them one by one with no change.
I'm at a complete loss here.
clownfishParticipantThanks for your response.
I've removed the code I had pasted into the media queries area in error. The bracket you thought was missing was below that.
I'm aware that its probably customisations which may have messed with the responsiveness, but cannot find which ones. Did you mean customisations in the media queries area? Did you notice which they were?
Were they obvious to you, or were you just generalising that customisations I've made must have messed up the responsiveness?
clownfishParticipantHi Tom,
Thanks so much! This worked perfectly. I thought I had tried every css fix possible except for just 'img' following the .widget-area class.
I say as expected, because it seems logical to me that anything placed in the header should shrink - whether a title, a menu or a widget - because if the capability is available on the left, why wouldn't it also be available on the right?
Wonderful result. Thanks again.

Thank you. Did you read that I said I couldn't post a link because the site is on a local server?
I have put a banner in the header right widget (site header) using a text widget. Pretty standard stuff, although the banner is quite large ie 660px wide by 135px high.
I have not altered any css for text widgets or sidebars.
The left side logo header shrinks as expected. The right hand side does not.
I have added the class="widget-area header-widget-area" to the Shrink css but must be doing something incorrectly because that side will not shrink.
clownfishParticipantJust thought I'd post my update for anyone else who might be going insane trying to find a solution to the same problem.
I can't give an exact why, but when Lifestyle Pro is installed on my local server, an image in the header persists in defaulting to the left instead of the center when the screen size is laptop or above. For smaller screen sizes it goes to the center.
On a remote server, there is no such issue.
I changed the php version of the server, from 5.6.2 and every version back to 5.3 . This made no difference. I am not going to spend time comparing all my local server settings against my remote settings, but having done so in the past - I know they are very similar.
At least now I know - so a couple of days of hair pulling and teeth gnashing later, I hope someone else will benefit from my angst.
clownfishParticipantHi Julia,
Thanks for touching base. Perhaps its a Firefox thing? I loaded the logo into the Header image area, not Header Right widget.
I have made many changes to the css to try and sort this out, as previously explained, but I reset everything back to default after each attempt.
My local server is configured to be the same as my remote server, but I will install WP on a live server and see what result I get, and will post back here shortly. After that, I will have no more time to spare on this, so lets hope its some kind of local demon.
