Sean,
Do YOU use http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header ?
All the negative comments on their blog (people really dissatisfied OR saying it doesn't work) has me worried.
Charlie
CharlieSeymourJrMemberThanks anyway, Sean.
Say... do you know where there are some tutorials to help me set this up. I can hardly believe how tough this is for me today. By this time with my former system, I'd have had 3 websites up and running.

CharlieSeymourJrMemberHere's what I found:
/* Images

height: auto;
max-width: 100%;
}Have NO idea what you want me to do. That is the only place that looks remotely like that.

CharlieSeymourJrMemberSean,
Thanks for sticking with this for me.
Agency, Education, and others are all "Responsive" themes from StudioPress. If one has that, others probably do.
But even though I have 57 websites, not sure where you want me to look for that. I haven't edited the code for my sites in a while - really, that's one of the reasons I just bought Education so I would have to.
IF you can tell me where to look and IF it has that... what do you want me to test?
Charlie
CharlieSeymourJrMemberBut don't you find this all MADDENING? We spend good money on a new child theme which purports to be responsive but then I either have to add another plugin or edit the CSS?
I've spent 2 days setting this up already and haven't even STARTED on my content because this is taking so long. Hey... I'm not a neophyte with websites: I have 57 of them and keep being told how wonderful Genesis is.
Does this REALLY need to be this difficult?
AND... when I see either the themes I own - Education or Agency - and I drag my browser to be smaller to simulate a cell phone or small tablet, their sample looks great.
Shouldn't EVERYTHING be included when I buy a new theme? And should it REALLY take this long to set up?
Thanks for your help, folks.

Responsive is really important to me, so I'll use one that IS and then get the videos to work too.
QUESTION: I see that Agency is responsive (it's what we use on http://DrMarcAndCharlie.com). HOWEVER, it won't let me use a header jpg shorter than 977px (I think it is) instead of the 240 or so that others seem to use.
I can't even tell which version of this Child Theme I'm using or if it automatically updates.
IS it possible that the most up-to-date Agency is reponsive but the one I bought 9 months ago is NOT and it hasn't upgrade?
Also... WHERE can I see what version is being used? Also... do the Child Themes automatically update or only the framework?

I'm really looking for a child theme that is DESIGNED to play video. Unless I'm missing something, Agency (for instance) will let me embed my videos but doesn't have a way to put in a light table or gallery. I added a plugin which was highly recommended and it works great on my site BUT doesn't work on tables or phones - the video is hardly recognizable as video.
So... just as I can have a listing of previous posts, I'm looking to have a listing of the videos I display WITHOUT just adding lots of YouTube videos to a page (that REALLY slows down the loading of the page).
I want a gallery that stays responsive AND a way to show videos that is also responsive.
Any ideas?

March 28, 2013 at 9:12 am in reply to: Production Child Theme – Looking For Video Child Theme #31751CharlieSeymourJrMember@anitac There are lots of posts all over the Internet about this theme when I search for best child theme for video. Clearly I don't see it on Studio Press.
Have any idea WHY it was retired?
