I checked it out in Firefox and the background should come through as transparent. It is transparent in both Chrome an Firefox for me. In IE, however, the content bg is not transparent at all and shows 100%. I'll need to figure out how to fix that for IE.
You should be able to see my name through the content bg. I have it at 5% transparency. Do you still not see it? Hmm...

wp guy: Yes, I wasn't a big fan of the "brick" background either, but I'm still struggling to know what to put in. I have since changed it to a black and white picture of the Hollywood sign. It'll work for now, until I get some professional pictures done.
bandj: Good idea with the Green color. I'llĀ considerĀ it. Regarding the orange button, that went with my last design color scheme. Haven't gotten around to changing all the button colors yet, but it's on the agenda. Thanks for the reminder!
