Hoping someone is able to help me with this? I've tried the !important but didn't work.
CathyEarleMemberChanged that but still not working 🙁
CathyEarleMemberThanks - sorry thought I added - http://peaksmedia.com/sitesafety/
CathyEarleMemberThank you so much Carl. I realized after I wrote this that I was looking for margin instead of padding which I seem to always get confused. But I would never have thought of line-height.
Huge gratitude to you! ... More CSS study required on this end!
Thanks again!
CathyEarleMemberthe blue box that says 6 comments. I want to make that box smaller in height.
CathyEarleMember@Sridhar you are amazing thank you! I'll give this a try.

CathyEarleMemberHi - I'd like to do something similar - I have used the code you have suggested above and although it somewhat works I'd like to make a few more changes to the following site: http://meranti.ca/
1. On the home page I have the home page widgets showing at the top of the page. I'd like to show these on every page at the top of the page.
2. For now I don't actually want any content on the home page I'd like the site title/navigation - followed by the current home page widgets - then a blank space (without a white opacity over the picture - then at the bottom of the page the footer.
I'm thinking I would need to create new widgets that are not home page widgets but top of page widgets so they repeat on every page?
Not sure how to go about getting the footer at the bottom.
Thank you for any advice you might have on this...
CathyEarleMemberI'm having this same issue. I have too much space between the headlines of each post and am only displaying the headlines not the content or image.
I can change the font size using H2 tag but the margin and padding or line height don't change (the font size does).
`.widget-area h2 a {
font-size: 14px;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
line-height: 18px;
}CathyEarleMemberThanks that's a generous offer. It's a clients site and they are not committed to switching over to the new plugin / theme yet so might just be a waste of time. Appreciate your help/offer though.
CathyEarleMemberThanks for checking - figured as much ... same that's a lot of re-entering.
CathyEarleMemberI'd like to know this too. Perhaps the word "port" is confusing or I am looking for a different answer? I'd like to know to take old "posts" that were listings created in AgentPress and put them into the new "Listings" section of the "AgentPress Listings" plugin? Does this have to be done manually for each old listing or is a simpler way to move them?
CathyEarleMemberI have tried that but still face the same issue. I have the responsive plugin running on my testsite https://wowsunpeaks.com/testsite
The issue is two-fold.
1. When it changes to https the fonts on the widget (custom menu) and the primary menu change to not bold and what appears to be a different font type.
2. When I reduce the browser window the header leaves a large yellow space below the header. The the custom menu items are then dropped below the header - this also happens on iPhone.
------ further to that - when the browser window goes smaller I also loose colour on my widget items - instead of having a purple background they turn to a black background.
CathyEarleMemberThanks I'll give it a try.
CathyEarleMemberOh thanks for that link. I thought that genesis sites were responsive .... so much to learn.
CathyEarleMemberLOL - they build nice places that's for sure. Thank you so much for looking. Backstretch sounds complicated to me - I already paid for the current background plugin so not sure I want to pay for another.
CathyEarleMemberApologies for the many posts - also I have removed the background image and that doesn't make any difference to the width issue.
CathyEarleMemberIs backstretch a plugin? When I try to download it just gives me code. Do I copy that code and upload to plugin folder?
CathyEarleMemberthanks I will check your suggestion. I am using FWB Slider Pro for the background images - seems to work on all my devices/browsers except for Opera?
CathyEarleMemberI have both these enabled:
Enable Automatic Updates & Notify when updates are available
Do NOT have Genesis Beta Tester plugin installed
I HAVE Genesis Footer & Genesis Simple Edits running but have these two plugins running on all my other sites also.
