Hey there,
I've noticed that when uploading an image I just click "none" in the Link to: dropdown, and after awhile, it automatically just checks none.
I know it's not exactly what you were looking for but hope that helps a little!
beautyfoolMemberNo worries, thanks Mike. 🙂
There were two parts to my question, the padding, etc, is all good now, but now I am looking to make my left content column less wide overall, I feel it's too wide.
I'll wait if there are other responses, thank you so much for your help previously!

beautyfoolMemberHey Mike,
Yeah, that's what I did originally, but now there's too much padding around the border of the posts again. :/

beautyfoolMemberHi Mike,
Thanks so much for this. It worked perfectly and looks great, but I'd still prefer to make my content column a little slimmer. It's looking a little wide now. Would you know how I can still cut off about 40px in width - and is it worth the effort? Looking at the code, I'd need to change quite a bit to change the width?
Thanks again for helping me out,
ReneebeautyfoolMemberHi Mike,
Thank you so much for your help! That was such a good idea about the Post Format Images, thank you!
For the padding, maybe it's easier to show an example of my site, it's at blogforbeauty.com.
As you can see, I have put in a 1px grey border around my blog posts, and I've adjusted the padding for the content inside that border. What I am trying to do now is to "cut off" that extra 20px on the left and right spacing. Would you know what to do?
Thank you so much,

Oh boy, OK that is a bit hard for me... would that mean adding a min-height here:
.flexible-widgets {
padding-bottom: 60px;
padding-top: 100px;
}I actually tried to do the whole "one big scrolling" homepage like the Altitude Pro demo, but when I put another in the "Front Page 2" widget, it also "leaked" to the top so I'm not sure if it could also be another issue?
Thanks so much for your help Davinder (as always!)

Sure, here is a screenshot, the one on the left is on desktop, the one on the right is mobile.

Thanks so much,
ReneebeautyfoolMemberThank you so much, Christoph! Had no idea that was there 🙂
beautyfoolMemberHi everyone - so I figured it out, but just in case someone may also have the same problem.
I switched on comments in Genesis Theme Settings, and in the Customize settings, and comments still didn't show.
Then I realized that for some reason, in the General Discussion settings, the option to turn off comments after 1 day was ticked. I don't ever remember putting that in, so in case you might be wondering why comments aren't showing, try having a look there!

beautyfoolMemberHI Victor, yes that was a test comment I wrote inside the WP admin.
For other readers on the site, there is no comment form area. Would you know why?
beautyfoolMemberVictor, thank you SO much, that worked perfectly 🙂
beautyfoolMemberThank you Jeff, I really appreciate the help. That was it - it's all good now, yay! 😀
beautyfoolMemberHi, thanks for your reply!
I figured it out - there was nothing wrong with the image, just that AgencyPro has a special backstretch image feature for the so the default was still there. Replaced it with the new image and it was fine. You can do this in the Customize section.
(So just in case anyone is wondering too! :))
beautyfoolMemberAnyone?
Sorry for the rush - I am on a deadline with a friend and this is the last thing that needs to be done - thanks!
beautyfoolMemberAnyone? (Other than spam accounts, ha)
beautyfoolMemberNo worries at all, Jeff!
My code for my site description is as follows, could that be the culprit?
.site-description {
font-size: 9px;
height: 0;
margin: 0;
text-indent: -9999px;
}beautyfoolMemberHi Jeff, yes, from your screenshot that looks correct. Thank you.
Yep, Susan - I've refreshed my cache and tested it in different browsers, etc, somehow it's not working for me. It is still making my widgets below it "run" into my logo. I'll look into my functions now.
Jeff, May I request that the screenshot be taken down? (Just for privacy for my site).
Thank you,
ReneebeautyfoolMemberHi Jeff,
Thank you so much for helping me out and writing all that up for me.
Unfortunately, it didn't work. 🙁 The slogan didn't show up at all and it moved the widget below it higher instead. What I did was to add a text in a widget directly underneath the title - it's not exactly how I want it but it looks alright I think.
Do you think I could do it in a hook? Like, finding the logo/header info function and then just adding a line of text underneath it?
beautyfoolMemberHi there - thank you! After I add that in, where do I add in the line of intro text?
