Hi, I really need some advice/assistance.
I have run into the 1st-ever critical issue with my WP site and I’m not techy enuf to know how to deal with it or how best to interact with my website host.
Prior to this event, Pingdom clocked my site load-time at about 2.5secs, and a Securi scan sez it’s clean. Pingdom now clocks the speed @ about 11+secs. Securi sez it’s still clean.
It’s 1-week since my site began acting buggy on Sept 10th after I selected the bookmarked link to my site, for about the 2000th time, and was met with this message from Safari:
-------------------
Resource Limit Is Reached
The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.
-------------------
Never saw that message previously and I’ve had the site 4yrs. It recurred for about a day. After several retries over an hour or so, I pulled-up the website. It was slow, & erratic. What follows is a saga which I could, but won’t go into more detail unless someone requests it. (It’s detailed in about 2-dozen emails to my host’s Support.)Using Safari, Firefox, & Chrome I’ve had instances where I can’t pull-up the site, or, I can pull-up the site but navigation doesn’t work. Or, Navigation works for 1-3 Pages, then freezes. Or I pullup the site, but the lowest part(20%) of a Page is not loaded. Or,
I can’t sign-in, no Login Page; then I can, but can’t navigate. Or I can navigate 1-2 Pages but can’t sign out. Then miraculously, it all seems better, but that never lasts.
I now get this message a lot from Safari, Firefox & Chrome: Safari can’t open the Page, the server isn’t responding.
Variety of Support-people have emailed me, but the diabolical situation remains. Finally Support said their Server was not at fault, it was my website and “they don’t fix websites”.
This a.m. I couldn’t retrieve the site at all; this afternoon I could but it’s erratic, and Captcha code rarely loads.
I’ve never touched Genesis code or php. I only adjust the CSS code, for about 2.5 years now.
It’s really critical that I resolve this issue. I can’t outsource this, I have to either fix it myself or figure out how to encourage my Host to take this situation more seriously because I really believe it’s at their end.
>> One more thing: Pingdom results are unusual now: the Header & the eNews widget are each taking about 7+ seconds to call from the server. Previously it took less than half that time and I don’t know what changed.
Google bot can’t scan it; sez the problem is probably caused by “overloading at the server.”
Thanx, Thanx, Thanx if you’ve read this far. Any ideas, advice, suggestions, helpful forums.
My website is the “social proof” helping to establish me here in Japan. I really need it back.

Hopefully you submitted a support ticket & got this resolved.
I clicked the link to your website and it all seems to be working fine now.
