    Hello,

I"m using Executive theme and everything is going well. I'm able to get the Responsive Slider going on the home page but I also need it to work on other pages. How do I that?

    Thanks in advance

    Sam

Create a widget area using genesis_hooks and drag in the Genesis Responsive Slider. http://designsbynickthegeek.com/tutorials/add-widgeted-sidebar

You can also use conditional tags in the custom function or install a Widget Logic plugin if needed.

As still relatively new to WP I was looking to achieve the same kind of thing and this article explained things really well,  thanks  🙂

Just to take things further though,  is it possible to add responsive slider to selected pages rather than to all ? How would you achieve that?

    Thanks

    Alan

Add the widget area so its available sitewide (without the conditional tag in the code) and then add the conditional tag for each page using the Widget Logic field in the responsive slider.

You'll need to install the Widget Logic plugin and understand which conditional tag to use. http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags

    Example:

    is_page('4')

Adding this tag to the widget logic field in your GRSlider will only display the slider on a page with a post i.d of 4

This is one way to get the job done. There are others which reqiure custom functions and code modifying.
