Home Page Pagination Not Working

I changed the blog homepage and it shows the pagination on the bottom, but when you click page 2, 3, 4, etc. it just shows the same posts on the home. It doesn't work. I can't share the link cause the site isn't live. Help!

As I dig deeper the pagination works when I set the frontpage to show the recent posts, however not when I set it to a static page with posts and further I have Genesis>Theme Settings>Content Archives>Display Post Content+Featured Image + Numeric Post Navigation.

@danicalc - you might have more luck getting a response if you start a new thread, rather than adding on to one which has not been active for 5 months.

If you set your home page to display a static page, the blog page pagination does not work. Set your front page to display "latest posts", and that should resolve your issue.

@Susan, thanks for the feedback. I don't want my home page to display latest posts, because I only want it to display posts from a single category. I used the 'blog' template with a custom field to display only posts from a specific category on the page I want to display on the home page. Is there a cleaner way to do this, and have the pagination continue without repeating posts in an archive page?

Thanks @Susan. I had tried this method too, but the pagination was still not working. I'll try clearing cache and doing it again!

Hi @Susan, I Just tried that again, but still no luck 🙁 When I click on next or page 2, it appears to load p2 (?paged=2) but displays the same posts as seen on the home page as well as the widget above the feed on the home page. Thanks for your help!
