Help Reducing http requests. Stop loading comments-reply

Hello,

I am trying to reduce the number of requests on my site to maximize my page speed score. Since I do not allow comments on the site I would like to stop the comments-reply-min.js from loading. I tried removing the code in the load-scripts.php but I couldn't get it to stop. Any tips on how to do this?

Do you see any other ways I can improve my page speed score? I use Gtmetrix and have done as much as I can but I am stumped with the remaining tasks. You can see the report here: http://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.firetrucksunlimited.com/1iQhPgqK

You can remove the comments-reply-min.js by adding this to the bottom of your functions.php

function clean_header(){
	wp_deregister_script( 'comment-reply' );
         }
add_action('init','clean_header');

Maybe add a line of documentation to the top of it so you remember what the code is for.. 🙂
