    Hi all,

I have almost finished my site and was wondering about security. As genesis states that it has rock solid security, is it necessary to add any more?

I would always recommend using security plugins on your WordPress site. Genesis is secure as far as the coding of the actual theme files, but that doesn't mean the rest of your site is safe. I highly recommend Wordfence Security - it's a free plugin but it's packed with features and is very easy to use.

Security is a vague term. What are you trying to protect or prevent from happening? It's always best to define your needs before throwing a solution at it. Could end up being the wrong solution.

Thanks Andrea, chose Wordfence after looking at a few different ones, and yes, very easy to use!
