April 20, 2018 at 12:03 am in reply to: How do I place a search form to the extreme right of my logo? #219131YvonneOhMember
I'm worried I'll break my site if I add anything to the functions.php. Can you tell me what code to add to my Custom CSS?
YvonneOhMemberThanks. I found it!
YvonneOhMemberI want to add an Amazon One Link code which is supposed to be pasted at the bottom of the footer.php. Where can I find the footer.php?
January 11, 2018 at 8:10 am in reply to: How to remove 'Continue Reading' button on Triple Bottom Widget? #215296YvonneOhMemberWhen I did that, it also hid the category archive link. I just want to do away with the 'continue reading' button and not the category archive link.
Thanks.
August 26, 2017 at 6:00 am in reply to: Navigation menu images appear small when viewed on mobile phone #210785YvonneOhMemberSorry, I mean the images that appear in all the categories on the navigation menu.
Example:
https://souperdiaries.com/category/type/desserts-and-drinks/
https://souperdiaries.com/category/30-minutes-or-less/
https://souperdiaries.com/category/how-to/When those category pages are viewed on a mobile phone, the images look very small.
The images should appear as big as those on this page: https://souperdiaries.com/recipe-index/. (as seen on mobile phone)
YvonneOhMemberWhich method is easier and how is it done?
YvonneOhMemberThanks Susan. It's looking fine now. 🙂
YvonneOhMemberI updated the code in my stylesheet and changed 30px to go higher up to 300px but there was no difference.
YvonneOhMemberSorry but I don't quite understand. So I used the code you provided and replaced the old code. Now the length of the search form is fine but it pushed down the simple social icons to the next line. How do I get it back up? https://souperdiaries.com/
YvonneOhMemberHi Susan,
I pasted the code in the custom CSS area and there appears to be no change. Did I paste it in the wrong place?
The code which I used previously to place the search form there is this:
@media (min-width: 1030px) {
.menu-secondary aside.widget-area {
width: 30%;
text-align: right;
}.menu-secondary .widget_search,
.menu-secondary .simple-social-icons {
display: inline-block;
width: auto;
vertical-align: middle;
}}
July 14, 2017 at 10:52 pm in reply to: How to move my Widget Above Header and remove the grey bar behind it? #209128YvonneOhMemberThanks!
YvonneOhMemberHi,
Thanks for your reply. I managed to solve this issue by installing a Classic Text Widget. The grey background is now shorter - just like it was originally.
Regarding the content in the grey background, I will leave it empty for now.
Have a great day!
Yvonne
YvonneOhMemberOk, got it! I don't see a way to remove this question so I'll let the moderator do it.
YvonneOhMemberThanks very much!
YvonneOhMemberThanks.
YvonneOhMemberThanks so much! I should have asked here earlier. 🙂
YvonneOhMemberThanks so much, Victor.
March 24, 2017 at 3:46 am in reply to: How do I reduce the font size for Genesis – User Profile Text? #203763YvonneOhMember@ Brad: I inspected the element and made the changes but I wasn't able to save the them. I did clear browsing data including cached images and files and also deleted cache in my plugin after making the changes. How can the changes be saved?
@ Marcy: Thanks, the code worked perfectly but I wish to also learn how to edit CSS myself.
February 15, 2017 at 8:06 am in reply to: How do I uncap my H3 fonts and reduce the font size? #200915YvonneOhMemberIt's weird. It seems to be working on all my recipe posts but not on posts in my reviews category. (https://souperdiaries.com/category/kitchen-cookware-reviews/)
February 15, 2017 at 8:06 am in reply to: How do I uncap my H3 fonts and reduce the font size? #200914YvonneOhMemberIt's weird. The CSS rule only works on certain posts. For example, it works on all my recipe posts. But for my reviews category, (https://souperdiaries.com/category/kitchen-cookware-reviews/) all the h3 text are still in caps.
