December 8, 2014 at 7:28 am in reply to: Featured page widgets (horizontal) next to each other #133981WvanWMember
It has something to do with this code:
.home-widgets-2 { max-width: 1280px;
.home-widgets-2 .featuredpage { float: left;
I want the home2 widget area to be full width. But the widgets inside must be one-third, with a max of 1280px.
So the content (3 featured page widgets) should be 1280px together max.The float left seems to clear the background colours of the home-widgets-2 and the featured page widgets.
WvanWMemberStill haven't figured it out...
WvanWMemberAlso, the background is now shared with the home 3 widget area.
Seems like the home 2 widget area wrap is gone or something.WvanWMemberThanks! That works, although it is not mobile friendly.
The featured post widgets show perfect on mobile.
Is it possible to do the same for the featured page widgets?
WvanWMemberThat did do the trick although, The widgets now take the full width of the screen. I want them to be 1280px just like the featured post widget and they should be centered.
.home-widgets-2{
max-width: 1280px;Is the good width, but still doesn't center the widgets.
WvanWMemberStill not solved....
WvanWMember.featuredpage { width: 426.67px; display: inline-flex; }
This also shows them horizontal but still doesn't center them and also the height is different of each page widget, The ammount of content seems to do this.
WvanWMemberI found which elements to style altho I can't get it right.
.home-widgets-2 { display: inline-flex; }
Above code shows the featured page widgets horizontal. But I want them to look like the featured post widget.
So the feautured page widgets should be centered in the home 2 widget area and have a width of max:width: 31.623931623931625%;
.home-widgets .featuredpage .home-widgets-2 .widget .widget-wrap
Can someone help me out with the correct css to fix this, please.
WvanWMemberCan anyone point me in the right direction!?
WvanWMember.genesis-nav-menu { clear: both; font-size: 1.4rem; line-height: 1; text-align: center; width: 100%; }
Add:
text-align: center;
to the css above.
I see you already fixed it so nvm
WvanWMemberWvanWMemberI have followed the following tutorials and have been playing with the CSS aswell:
But the primary navigation shows on top of the header or dissapears below the header when scrolling.
I would like to have the header shrink and after that let the primary navigation go on top of the header when scrolling down further. After that let the primary nav take over the shrinked logo image from the header.
WvanWMemberHello Brad,
Thanks for your reply! Although that didn't do the trick.
I got a topic on the cobaltapps forum aswell:
http://cobaltapps.com/forum/forum/main-category/web-design-talk/41258-enable-sticky-primary-nav
I tried everything you can see there but without any results. Been trying it for 2 days already -.-''
WvanWMemberWow! Thank you very much!
Would like to enable the secondary navigation in the centric pro theme.
No primary navigation is selected. Used a custom menu widget in the header right widget area.Would like to have a secondary sticky navigation below or in the header. I want this secondary navigation to only appear on the homepage and above the slider.
Anyone knows how to fix this? Or how to make a new menu and style it?All I could find was this: //* Unregister secondary navigation menu
add_theme_support( 'genesis-menus', array( 'primary' => __( 'Primary Navigation Menu', 'centric' ) ) );- First menu in the header is the custom menu widget into the Header right widget area
Second menu is a custom menu widget into a widget I created with extender, no idea how to properly style this element/menu
Third menu is a menu selected as primary navigation menu
Fourth menu I commented out the piece of code in the functions.php and than selected as secondary navigation menuThe result I would like to have. Is http://www.productprovider.nl/sample-table/
Would like to have the menu in the same style as the third menu (menu selected as primary navigation) is right now. But I want it only to show on the homepage and above the slider but below or inside the header.
Hopefully someone can help me out here. Thanks!
