I decided not to use an image as a background header and work the site title and tagline which are responsive. Not ideal and wish I knew of fix, but at least it is responsive and I'll get on with the rest of the design.
August 20, 2016 at 2:36 pm in reply to: Header / Menu not responsive on multiple devices – Genesis / Prose #191678wSb1gA3hYCParticipantSo far, I'm still haven't resolved my issue. I have noted:
If I do not use a site title or tagline and only use an image - my header is not responsive - period.
If I use a site title AND an image - the site title IS responsive, but the image isn't. Currently, I am using this as it looks a bit better than not having any graphic at all.
Any ideas about how I might be able to get an image only header on Genese / Prose theme to be responsive?
Any help would be much appreciated!
wSb1gA3hYCParticipantSusan, Thanks! I appreciate the response!
wSb1gA3hYCParticipantThank you Victor! I found the line of code - deleted it and the image is now showing. Many thanks!
wSb1gA3hYCParticipantbraddalton, no I didn't. Thanks for the tip!

wSb1gA3hYCParticipantI think what you are saying is that even though I have cleared the cache on my site and browsers, I will still not see the change for some time to come? Is this true?
If so, about how long will it take before I can actually see a change has been made?
And, thank you for your help with this question!
wSb1gA3hYCParticipantI made the changes as you suggested but I see no change at all. I have cleared the cache and updated as well. Here's what it looks like:
}.wp-caption {
background: transparent;
font-weight: bold;
padding: 10px;
text-align: center;Any suggestions?
wSb1gA3hYCParticipantThank you, I'll give it a try!
wSb1gA3hYCParticipantThank you!!! for the code, where exactly do I put this .... if I read it correctly .... I am look for ".wp-caption" and replace whatever exists after "background:" with "transparent", etc.
But where do I look for the CSS?
