Hi Maria,
I guess you want to change the color of the placeholder text.
You may achieve it by adding this css to your child theme.::-webkit-input-placeholder { color: green; } :-moz-placeholder { color: green; } ::-moz-placeholder { color: green; } :-ms-input-placeholder { color: green; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
You may achieve this by changing the css.
Add the following in your child theme's style.css.site-header{ max-width:none; width:100%; left:0; } .site-container{ float:right; margin-left:0; margin-right:10%; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi Malycom,
Add the image to your images folder via ftp
Try the following css:
.site-container{ background: url('images/bg.jpg'); }

I guess you haven't enqueued the js file. In your functions.php file you need to enqueue the js file.
Try writing the following code in your functions.php
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'wdm_enqueue_scripts' ); function wdm_enqueue_scripts() { wp_register_script( 'custom-script', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/js/custom.js',array('jquery')); wp_enqueue_script( 'custom-script'); }
You may refer the below link for the syntax:

October 20, 2014 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Executive- Centered Logo with CSS, but Not Showing in Mobile Now #128561WisdmLabsMemberTry the following css:
In style.css line number 1042:
.header-image .title-area, .header-image .site-title, .header-image .site-title a{ display: inline-block; margin: 0 auto; min-height: 175px; text-align: center; }
WisdmLabsMemberThe <div class="title-area"> and <aside class="widget-area header-widget-area"> need to be wrapped inside a div with the class clearfix. The HTML structure for it should be as follows:
<div class="clearfix wdm-container"> <div class="title-area"> ..................... </div> <aside class="widget-area header-widget-area"> ................................ </aside> </div>
CSS would be as follows:
.wdm-container{ max-width:1140px; margin:0 auto; }
WisdmLabsMemberYou can achieve this using jQuery.
In your child theme's js folder create a custom.js file.
Write the following in custom.js
jQuery(document).ready(function () { var wdmNav = jQuery('body').find('nav.nav-primary'); wdmNav.hide(); jQuery(window).scroll(function(){ if (jQuery(this).scrollTop() > 100) { wdmNav.fadeIn(); } else { wdmNav.fadeOut(); } }); });
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
Instead of usingleft: 880px
, useright: 0;
So the final CSS code will be:.site-header .widget-area { position: absolute; z-index: 99999; top: 1px; right: 0; float: right; text-align: right; width: 400px; }
And add the below CSS:
.wrap { position: relative; }
By adding the above CSS, you will make sure that the image doesn't shift beyond the width of the wrap.
WisdmLabsMemberIt's a simple css issue.
Try using rgba for background.
Your css should look as follows:.entry { background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.7); border-radius: 10px; margin-bottom: 4rem; padding: 4rem 4rem 2.4rem; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
On inspecting from the developer tool, I found that there is an extra text widget displayed on pages where the social icons are shifting towards left. Please remove that text widget from back-end and your problem will be resolved.Below is the code of text widget that can be seen from the developer tool:
<div id="text-9" class="widget widget_text"> <div class="widget-wrap"> <div class="textwidget"> <div class="right-box"> <div class="phone-number-top">(510) 343-9199</div> </div> </div> </div> </div>
WisdmLabsMemberThe images for the radio buttons are not found which is why they are not seen.
In custom.css find the following line.content .genesis_responsive_slider .flex-control-nav li a{ background: url(images/icon-control-nav.png) no-repeat 0 0; background-size: 13px 39px; }
comment this piece of css.
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
Add the following CSS in your style.css:.has-post-thumbnail .entry-content a { display: block; text-align: center; }
WisdmLabsMemberLine 290 in style.css
Change padding as follows:
padding:13px;It should look like this:
#header ul.menu li a{ background: url(images/nav-line.png) no-repeat right; color: #fff; display: block; font-family: 'Droid Serif', arial, serif; font-size: 14px; padding: 13px; position: relative; text-decoration: none; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
Add the below CSS code in style.css:.sidebar .widget ul li a { text-decoration: none; }
However, the above code will remove the underline from all the anchor tags in unordered lists of sidebar widget.
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
Add the following CSS code in your style.css:#home-middle-bg { width: 960px; margin: 0 auto; } #footer-widgets, #footer { width: 960px; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
Shadow is coming from the slider. You can remove it by commenting or removing the box-shadow property in line no.847 of style.css as below:.content #genesis-responsive-slider { /* -webkit-box-shadow: 0 60px 100px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); */ /*-moz-box-shadow: 0 60px 100px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5);*/ /* box-shadow: 0 60px 100px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); */ border: none; padding: 0; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
This is just a CSS issue.
Comment the below CSS in style.css of centric-pro theme - Line no 2182:h3:before { content: " "; display: block; height: 285px; margin-top: -285px; visibility: hidden; }
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
Images are not wrapping around text because of the'clear:both;'
property given to the'#home-middle p'
selector on line.no 786 of style.css
Try removing that property and you will get the desired result.
WisdmLabsMemberHi,
It is difficult to solve your issue without actually viewing the site.
However, check if there are any syntax errors in writing the anchor tag code. Chrome and Safari both use webkit, and many times they render tags properly even though there are syntax errors.
