Thanks... you've rescued me yet again, Anita C!!
Bill
willyrParticipantThanks Dev. I'll give the graphic artist a piece of my mind... no one will notice, as I'm always talking to myself anyhow. 🙂
Bill
willyrParticipantHi there...
When I look at the site, all the printing and photos are clear, but, to my eyes, the two circular logos and the text in the header are a bit blurry.
Bill
willyrParticipantSpot on, Tony.
Very much appreciated.
Bill
willyrParticipantBrad, thanks. I guess I'm  not as nimble on WP as I thought!
The landing page is the home page, as per the settings.
I added the code to the function.php file and ftp'd it.
I added the widget to the home page and get what you see here;Â http://theinnerhealthstudio.com/
I would just like the slideshow to appear on the home page, no header, no footer, no nav bar. Any other advice or do I go back to WP school? 🙂
Thanks,
Bill
willyrParticipantBrad. Thanks for the reply.
I'm sorry, I don't know what you are showing me in "Firebug", whatever that is.
And no, so far, I haven't been pointed at a resolution.
When I look at the style.css for the theme, I don't see what you posted above.

January 12, 2013 at 11:58 am in reply to: custom menu link appears on primary and secondary nav #11469willyrParticipantHerman, to me it appears as though you have your custom menu widget up in the header area.
If you have menu content in your Primary menu field, and from the look of your page the primary is appearing under your diamond logo and that is what you want, then what is the custom menu for?
Bill
willyrParticipantAlan, thanks your ongoing support.
I am really, really embarrassed about a silly mistake. There actually is nothing wrong.
I took your tip and created new menus. In so doing I removed the menu name from the Secondary Navigation field on the Menus page, and, of course, the secondary navigation menu, which I now know appears under the primary menu at the top of the page, is now gone.
Duh!!!
So sorry about bothering you. Thanks to all for reading and for helping.
Cheers,
Bill
willyrParticipantSo, what I've done, is created a link using html and put it into a text widget in the right column.
http://www.orlando-florida-attractions.com
This is a work around, and I'm very puzzled as I have not had this problem before.
If no one has any suggestions, I'll ask support to have a look when they have a moment.
Thanks for any and all help.
Bill
willyrParticipantIf I add the menu item to the side menu, it also appears in the Main top menu, but on a new line.
If I add a new page link to the Main menu, it appears on the same line as the existing nav items, but the weird link to the contact page starts it's own line below the others.
If I delete the contact menu item from the Side menu, it also disappears from the Main top menu.
Very weird. This is the fourth or fifth menu I've built on a variety of sites, and I can't recall this happening before.
Bill
willyrParticipantYes.
willyrParticipantAlan, I sure appreciate the fast reply.
Unfortunately, I have done all of that. I have two menus, Main and Side.
The link to the contact page is only in the Side menu, not in the Main menu.
Yet the contact menu item appears in both. Am I missing a step.... probably! 🙂

January 11, 2013 at 3:44 pm in reply to: custom menu link appears on primary and secondary nav #11324willyrParticipantHerman, if I understand you correctly you do not want a secondary menu?
If not, in your dashboard under Appearance, you should have a Menu button. If you click that, can you see where you should be able to disable the secondary menu?
Bill
willyrParticipantNick, thank you for your help. Your recommendation here: "Ok, the 406 error generally indicates that the server is sending some really rough data to the browser. It simply cannot be understood at all by the browser so the 406 error is returned instead. This doesn't typically happen because browsers usually try their best even if it doesn't know what to do with the data.
There are a few possible issues that might result in this. The first step would be to try a different browser.
If that doesn't resolve it you need to contact the host to see if they have any specific error logs that might indicate why this is happening. Thanks." convinced me to try and seek resolution at my host site.
I contacted them, and their response to Nick's comments was "I have analysed the error logs and observed that the issue encountered is due to "mod-security" restriction for the domain.

'mod_security' is an Apache module (for Apache 1 and 2) that provides intrusion detection and prevention for web applications. It aims at shielding web applications from known and unknown attacks, such as SQL injection attacks, cross-site scripting, path traversal attacks, etc.
For some third party scripts to work properly, we will have to exclude certain protection features/modules. mod_security has certain rules for the words "pattern" used in online CMS and requested URLs. If any pattern match with the requested URL under your site or any online CMS try to put the words "Pattern" to database, mod_security deny the access to it. Most of the CMS put the data in the database and edit/delete record from database and they really need the mod_security to be disabled.
Please confirm whether I shall disable the mod_security feature for the domain."
OK, I so confirmed, and bingo, I can add media etc. so the problem appears to be solved.
My host site did not respond when I asked them why I had this problem with this site, but not on any other of my WP/SP sites.
I recall reading a post elsewhere about the "security message" that is popping up now on some sites. I was happy to see that I could ignore it, as, really, I don't understand the issue. It seems, however, that the change in Genesis does have ramifications, and I believe that others may run into this same problem when working on their sites.
My thanks to all in the SP forum and in the Support group for their help in resolving what was for me a catastrophic problem.
Cheers,
BillwillyrParticipantAnita, thanks, yes I did, and now I wonder if it's that upgrade that created the problem?
Regardless, Nick has resolved the issue with this information:Â http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds
and now my video appears on the page here:Â http://orlando-florida-attractions.com/amway-center/

willyrParticipantG'day...
Saw your site. You may want to have a look at, or Google, the downside of using "free" themes, as apparently many contain hidden malicious software.
As to finding a theme to match an existing one, that's tough. Though, depending on how much time you want to spend diving into modifying files, I suspect that you can modify any SP theme to closely emulate your present theme. Depending on your skill set, the process could be straightforward, or it might be fraught with difficulty.
During the process, as you encounter specific problems, the forums are very good for supplying an answer to those, perhaps not so good for generic questions like your present one is.
I have customized the header on all of my sites, and that's as simple as creating one to size, uploading it, and then using the code snippets provided to remove the existing header text and graphic.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
Bill
willyrParticipantGreat. Thanks so much.
We didn't used to have to insert video this way, so something changed, and I wonder if other folks are having the same problem? If so, you've provided the answer.
Cheers,
Bill
willyrParticipantHi Anita...
Nope, opened my YouTube account, opened the video, selected the embed code as follows:
<iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-s6xhj6ysxU?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
and pasted into the page using the text view.
Same error message:
______________________________
406 Not Acceptable
This request is not acceptableI remove the embed code and the page updates just fine.
I have no idea why this is happening, and it happens before I updated Genesis, so it isn't the update that is causing this.
Help!
Bill
willyrParticipantKate, I suspect you can do it with html, but wouldn't it be easier to create a graphic with the title coloured as you see fit, and then use that graphic as a title?
If you go to your Appearance tab on the left, and then click on the header link from the menu, you can see how you can upload a graphic for the header.
Then, see the code snippets to remove the existing header graphic, if necessary.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Bill
