Ofcourse, thanks! I didn't think of that obvious solution.
September 16, 2016 at 7:44 am in reply to: Change size featured images for different locations #193236webkompaanParticipantI got it solved, but I still don't understand. In the plugin php files the images was loaded using get the post thumbnail function. So the post thumbnail was used as featured image. But isn't that the same? I couldn't find in WP / Genesis / Digital Pro were to change the size and crop yes/no for the post thumbnails. So I changed it to 'featured' inside the plugins php file and that worked, because I added a custom image size with the name featured in my functions.php file.

No
YesI use this plugin often and never had an issue with it. I will take another look at its files.

webkompaanParticipantStrangely enough, activating (!) the Yoast breadcrumbs and deactivating them again, made the translations visible.
webkompaanParticipantGreat and thanks! 🙂
webkompaanParticipantSeems to work better, for now 🙂
So you next answer is to activate one plugin at a time and see what happens? 😉webkompaanParticipantHi Brad,
PHP Version: 5.6.9
WordPress Version: 4.5.2
Genesis Version: 2.2.7
Child Theme Version: Sixteen Nine Pro Theme 1.0
Genesis Extender Version: 1.4.1I saw there was another version of this child theme, but using that breaks my site somehow.
webkompaanParticipantOk, thanks.
I found this code I used and that works. But perhaps this plugin you mention is easier, because I need more than one replacement.add_action('get_header','cd_change_genesis_sidebar'); function cd_change_genesis_sidebar() { global $post; $ancestors = get_post_ancestors( $post ); if ( is_page( 'fotografie' ) || in_array( '12923', $ancestors) ) { remove_action( 'genesis_sidebar', 'genesis_do_sidebar' ); //remove the default genesis sidebar add_action( 'genesis_sidebar', 'cd_do_sidebar' ); //add an action hook to call the function for my custom sidebar } } function cd_do_sidebar() { dynamic_sidebar( 'nextgen' ); }
webkompaanParticipant@Victor, that is probably the reason, I know, but that means I could never use html tags in excerpts, because they can appear anywhere at any place, regardless of the length I choose.
webkompaanParticipantThere indeed are a lot of maintenance mode plugin, but nevertheless I would really like to see it being part of Genesis 😉
webkompaanParticipantI solved this by using the NavXT plugin, although I would really wish that these kind of things could be done from within Genesis 🙂
July 3, 2015 at 8:37 am in reply to: Footer credits: moving them to below widget areas in footer #158285webkompaanParticipantHi asbilly,
Did you ever resolve this ? I'm looking for the same thing, to move the credits just before the end of the footer.
webkompaanParticipantNo, not yet :(, but I'm not able to work on this site continuously.
Forget the code I entered above, I'm now using Formidable form to create new posts. But when I view the category of these new (custom) posts, or the single custom post, the problem is the same. No borders etc. around the post, as if some part of the markup is missing, and I'm not using any custom template for my custom posts. Did I forget to check some option perhaps?
webkompaanParticipantI found a solution by moving the primary nav into the header area and disabling the Header Right widget.
The Header Nav must be something from Dynamic Website Builder 😉webkompaanParticipantHi Tom. You're correct. I just tried that other widget and got the same result. My next step is the folks at CobaltApps and StudioPress, because I have no idea where to look for the error. Thanks!
webkompaanParticipantI'm having the same issue with this widget. In my case the Show Category Archive Link cannot be translated using WPML. Who should I contact about this? Is this part of a Genesis plugin?
webkompaanParticipantForget it... I made a stupid mistake by thinking I had to add an extra widget to get this ordering... 🙁
webkompaanParticipantBookmarked those two pages 🙂 Thanks Sridhar.
webkompaanParticipantYeah, I already did with one site. I also tried another twitter plugin that gave me no problems, just this one.
